Scratch evidence for #44 (issue #11's first acceptance criterion: each self-guard demonstrably capable of red). DRAFT, never to merge — will be closed as soon as the red run is captured. Built on #44's head; breaks exactly one guard, everything else stays green.

The break: VERSION bare at 0.1.0, changelog stamped and re-armed correctly, but no drills/0.1.0.md — the evidence-free release box#95/#114/#148 all shipped through.
